You can always see dreams( almost freely!!), but if you are ready to spend some extra bucks...Walt Disney is out here to show you a dream story called "UP". I promise you will be "Up"solutely delighted...
Journey to dream world begins with ...a wordless scenes for 5 minutes....its an elegant and touching start to movie which "UP" lifts the expectations to a new height.
A true love story of a little chap "Carl" and his girl friend "Ellie". Their entire journey from nice looking teenagers to wrinkled oldies is covered withing this short period. Ellie, a dreamy girl, always wants to go to South America and settle down at the high mountains (above picture). Carl and Ellie, both work hard to fulfill their wish..but due to worldly problems they always end up in compromising with their dream. Ellie dies and leaves Carl alone. Being a lonely and aged..he becomes cranky. With other disturbances in peaceful life and an inspiration to fulfill incomplete wishes , he decides to move to south America. With thousands balloons tied to his house and a little chap trapped inside his house (by mistake)...he flies "UP" in the sky.....to dreamy mountains of South America....story begins here.....Old man Carl keeps his love alive till the end and keeps all promises!!
I really enjoyed the movie...and especially initial wordless sequence......it was really touching experience! Adventrous and funny sequences at the end are too good...
Initially with the idea of animation movie..i was little bit nervous and skeptical..I thought, it would not portrait human elements and emotions to its exactness. But with superb animation PIXAR has created a true reflection of human elements and blended it with cartoon fantasy. After a great movie like "Wall E" and "UP" ... I hope to get entertained in coming years with animation movies........
